New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called a meeting of his Council of Ministers today amidst the fast growing Kovid affairs in the country. The meeting will be held through video conference, in which members of the Council of Ministers and top officials of the Central Government can also be involved.
This will be the first meeting of the Union Council of Ministers during the second wave of Corona epidemic in the country. Discussions can also be made in the meeting about the vaccination campaign being started for people between 18 and 44 years of age. In the meeting, ministers can be asked to go public and resolve their issues. Prior to this, the Prime Minister has held several rounds of talks with the Chief Ministers of the states.
Prime Minister’s round of discussion with top officials continues
The Prime Minister has held talks with top government officials, officials of pharmaceutical companies, oxygen suppliers, Army and Air Force chiefs among others, and discussed the situation in Corona.
On Thursday, a record 3,79,257 cases of corona virus infection were reported in the country. With this, the total number of infections in the country has gone up to 1,83,76,524. According to the data till eight o’clock in the morning, after the death of 3,645 people in one day, the number of dead of this deadly disease has increased to 2,04,832.
